Sr. Analyst/Customer Data Governance & Compliancy
Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst/Customer Data Governance & Compliancy will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) regulations for business customers. This role requires direct interaction with Regulatory Affairs and TDRA teams, managing proposals, leading discussions to secure approvals for digital transformation strategies, and acting as a liaison with various departments to address regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage TDRA Business Customer Registration Regulatory Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with all TDRA customer registration regulations.
- Handle both ad hoc and operational requests related to business customer registration.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all business submissions planned for TDRA, validating that documents, data, and justifications align with regulatory expectations while safeguarding business interests.
Direct Interface with Regulatory Affairs:
- Serve as the primary point of contact from the Business department for all communications with Regulatory Affairs and TDRA teams.
- Support the Business Team in crafting well-substantiated responses to TDRA consultations and policy discussions to protect and advance the company’s interests.
- Maintain strong relationships with Regulatory Affairs and TDRA representatives to facilitate smooth regulatory processes.
Manage Digital Transformation Proposals and Lead Meetings:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop digital transformation proposals that align with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and write position papers to advocate for the Business Team’s perspective on regulatory matters, ensuring that TDRA policies consider the organization’s commercial and strategic objectives.
- Assess regulatory developments and proactively propose recommendations to minimize regulatory risks and leverage business opportunities.
- Work with the Regulatory Affairs team to secure TDRA approvals.
- Lead meetings and discussions with Regulatory Affairs and TDRA teams to obtain necessary approvals for the organization's digital transformation strategy.
Focal Point for Regulatory Issues:
- Act as the central point of contact for regulatory issues within the organization.
- Collaborate with various departments within the business to ensure regulatory requirements are addressed and complied with.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of TDRA regulations and requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
