Position: Network Engineering Specialist dSN

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and documenting data center network projects, focusing on routing, switching, quality of service, and security. You will work with a variety of technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, F5, VMware, Kubernetes, and Fortinet. This position is a great opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects related to container orchestration, data center infrastructure, and IoT network integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, execute, and document data center network projects, covering static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, intrusion protection, local and global load balancing, anti-DDoS, etc.
2. Design, develop, and document network projects related to container orchestration infrastructure, specifically focusing on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
3. Design and implement deployment architecture for various services on the Digital Service Node, working closely with service engineering teams to support migration design, implementation, and project planning.
4. Manage integration projects for private IoT networks.
5. Provide technical support for the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering/technology for data center networks.
2. Strong knowledge in:

• Static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF) with Cisco and Juniper.
• Switching with Cisco and Juniper equipment, including aggregation, vPC, traffic mirroring, and troubleshooting.
• Quality of service management, packet marking, and traffic shaping with Cisco equipment.
• Configuration of tunnels (IPSEC, SSL, GRE) with Cisco devices.
• Local and global load balancing with F5, including iRule programming and specific device functionalities.
• Security technologies with Fortinet.
• LAN and WAN communications.
• Network configuration in VMware and KVM virtualization environments.
• Advanced knowledge of data network security.
• IPv4 and IPv6.

1. Experience in deploying network architecture for container orchestration environments with Kubernetes.
2. Experience integrating with monitoring tools such as Nagios/Icinga, Service Now, and Splunk.
3. Languages:

• Spanish
• English (minimum B1 level)
• Portuguese is a plus

Desired Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Cisco UCS technology.
2. Knowledge of Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
3. Knowledge of domain management and addressing with Infoblox.
