About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Engineer to design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters. The role requires a deep understanding of container orchestration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies. The selected candidate will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to optimize Kubernetes deployments and implement best practices.

What you'll do:

• Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters on-premises or in the cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize deployments for resource utilization and performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to automate Kubernetes deployment and configuration.
• Establish monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to ensure system health and performance.
• Continuously analyze and optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, addressing bottlenecks and resource constraints.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard Kubernetes clusters from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Diagnose and resolve complex Kubernetes-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to promote Kubernetes best practices and foster a collaborative DevOps environment.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes Orchestrator service management.
• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and container orchestration principles.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Familiarity with major Kubernetes platforms such as Rancher, OpenShift, Docker.
• Experience with cloud-based Kubernetes services (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, GCP GKE).
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience with service meshes like Istio or Linkerd.
• Proficiency in HELM for package management and CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitOps).
• Experience with storage solutions such as Software-Defined Storage, S3 solutions, MinIO, NooBaa.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in DevOps and Kubernetes environments.
