We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Pulp & Energy Project Execution Engineering Excellence team as Documentation Development Manager. Your initial objective is to develop the documentation tools and processes in P&E Business line. You will be supported by Valmet IT and solution providers as well as your colleagues in our team. This is a fixed-term position until end of September 2026.

We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Pulp & Energy Project Execution Engineering Excellence team as Documentation Development Manager. Your initial objective is to develop the documentation tools and processes in P&E Business line. You will be supported by Valmet IT and solution providers as well as your colleagues in our team. This is a fixed-term position until end of September 2026.
In this interesting role you will
- lead the Lotus Notes ramp-down project in Pulp & Energy Business line, including analysis of legacy data and data migration to target systems
- lead the M-Files development in P&E business line
- manage M-Files key user network and development of P&E documentation management systems
- provide training to key users and stakeholders on documentation tools and processes
- perform administrative tasks in M-Files such as data corrections, document rollbacks and managing project specific access rights
- represent P&E in Valmet level documentation management such as M-Files and PLM workshops and forums
To be successful in this role, you need to have
- suitable educational background (E.g. M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or IT)
- at least 5 years of professional experience in IT/solution project leadership or documentation management administration with a keen eye for detail and the passion for excellence
- demonstrated ability to lead IT projects
- experience in managing ramp-down projects and transitioning legacy systems to new platforms
- strong technical/architectural skills with ability to create specification and collaborate with solution providers
- prior experience with M-Files is highly desirable
- excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively manage and coordinate with a diverse team of key users and various stakeholders
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure
- flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities as well as ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and in matrix organization
- strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
