Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional AI Developer with deep expertise in computational linguistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine advanced programming skills with a strong foundation in linguistic theory and natural language processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML solutions focusing on natural language understanding andprocessing
• Build and optimize language models and linguistic rule systems
• Implement and maintain production-grade NLP pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate linguistic features into existingproducts
• Contribute to research and development of innovative language technology solutions
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge LLM technologies into our stack
• Document technical specifications and maintain code quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Native proficiency in both Italian and English
• Expert-level JavaScript development skills with demonstrated experience in production environments
• Strong Python programming skills
• Deep understanding of computational linguistics and NLP concepts
• Extensive experience with modern LLMs and their applications
• Proven track record working with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK)
• Strong background in linguistic theory and semantics
• Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• Experience with transformer architectures and deep learning frameworks
• Experience in fine-tuning transformer models
• Familiarity with linguistic annotation and corpus development
• Knowledge of additional programming languages
• Contributions to open-source NLP projects
• Published research in computational linguistics or related fields

Technical Skills

• JavaScript (Advanced): Node.js, Modern ES6+
• Python: Scientific computing stack (NumPy, Pandas)
• NLP Frameworks: spaCy, Transformers, NLTK
• Machine Learning: PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Database Systems: SQL, NoSQL, Redis
• Vector Databases such as Qdrant
• RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Italian and English
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
