Data Specialist area in our “Talent Greenhouse’’ program

In this program you will receive comprehensive training in technical and professional skills throughout your first year at Cognizant. Our experienced colleagues will guide and support you to help you achieve your long-term career goals. By successfully mastering skills and demonstrating successful performance, you will have the opportunity to work on client engagements

You Can Expect To

• Provide data quality and integrity validation, develop and test solutions
• Be an active member of the team that develops data pipelines and data products
• Acquire a good understanding of data management and software development lifecycle
• Load data from third-party sources and internal applications, transform data if needed
• Help team to create a cutting-edge cloud data platform for a client
  
  

We Expect You To

• Have basic programming experience
• Understand cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc
• Be familiar with Data integration, analysis and deriving insights from data
• Have knowledge of databases and operating systems and SQL
• Have good analytical skills
• Be self-motivated and have a passion to learn new software and technologies quickly
• Have good English (spoken and written) in order to effectively participate in communication within Global team
• Be legally authorized to work freely in Latvia without company sponsorship (due to the nature of this position)
