Software Architect (m/f)

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Embedded Data Processing & Algorithms Department.

Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Creating high-level architectural designs that align with business requirements and technical constraints
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to development team members ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements
• Producing and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation
• Conducting code reviews to ensure that the implementation aligns with the architectural vision and adheres to quality standards including security, reliability, and usability
• Identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensuring that the architecture supports optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the software system
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, to adapt architectural strategies accordingly
  
  

You Would Need To Meet The Following Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ working experience of Software Architecture and Design Patterns
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve architectural issues and make decisions that balance technical and business needs
• Very good knowledge of UML, Object-Oriented Analysis and Model Driven Development
• Knowledge of the followings are considered assets:
• Microcontroller Hardware and Peripherals
• Embedded Software Development
• Automotive Processes and Quality Standards (e.g., A-SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
• Requirement management tools
• Agile Development
• Working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage deadlines, proven experience balancing multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Service-oriented and well organized
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are considered assets
