Software QA Engineer (Barcelona - Hybrid)

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have

• Experience in test automation / API test development, utilizing design patterns and automation framework development from scratch.
• Manual testing (in case they can't be automated)
• QA processes documentation
• Load testing
• API testing
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including planning and strategy design and reporting.
• Refinement of Jira tickets including acceptance criteria
• Jira ticket testing
• Experience in communication with development teams (BE/FE)
• Experience in communication with the technical leads regarding processes related to QA
• Experience in communication with the delivery management team to gather business requirements
• Experience in communication with client's stakeholders or demonstrated experience in consultancy
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of AGILE methodologies and practices.
• Creativity, ownership, and adaptability.
• Be able to speed up the deliverables by preventing bugs and finding bugs faster, creating a QA strategy and solutions for early feedback.
• Excellent issue isolation, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Nice to have: experience in previous data projects - it is not mandatory
  
  

This a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office based in Poblenou area)
