Are you a passionate and aspiring Web Developer looking to start your career in a dynamic and fast-paced agency? My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team, working alongside the Web Development Manager and wider agency team to support an exciting portfolio of clients.

About the Role

In this role, you'll receive full training and hands-on experience in developing and maintaining PHP-based event websites while also assisting in building live campaign events for a diverse client base. We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable individual eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in web development, particularly with a front-end focus. You'll gain valuable skills, guidance, and support from experienced developers to help you progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and optimising high-quality websites and web applications.
• Learn to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Work as part of an agile, fast-moving team, contributing to project success.
• Support in ensuring websites are optimised for performance, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Gain hands-on experience with real-world projects under the guidance of experienced developers.

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• An eagerness to learn PHP and MySQL.
• Interest in using GitHub for version control.
• Awareness of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to develop new skills.
