Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join an IT team responsible for Client Referential, Compliance, Risk, or Finance.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, IT, or a related field;
• Minimum 10 years of IT business analyst experience, with 5 years in testing;
• At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably in an agile environment;
• Experienced in managing business requirements and creating functional specifications/user stories;
• Skilled in testing (writing, executing, and monitoring tests);
• Hands-on with SQL, Jira, and Confluence;
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams;
• Proactive, result-driven team player with strong project ownership, expertise in SDLC, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Desired Skill-set

• Financial/banking industry knowledge preferred;
• CBAP, CCBA, or PSM certification is a plus, along with hands-on API testing experience;
• Familiar with Jira XRAY, writing Cucumber feature files, and using process diagram tools like Draw.IO or Visio.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-sized projects as a Scrum Master, ensuring adherence to agile methodology, organizing workshops, and reporting KPIs to project managers and management;
• Collaborate with users/Product Owners to clarify and communicate business requirements to the team;
• Translate and challenge business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements;
• Work with development teams to design solutions that meet business needs while considering technical constraints;
• Develop test strategies, create test scenarios, and perform functional, integration, and user testing to ensure compliance with requirements;
• Provide Level 3 support by analyzing defects, coordinating with support and technical teams, and managing defect resolution and retesting;
• Maintain functional documentation for applications.
