Game Narrative Designer

Job Responsibilities:

• Set and write the Portrayed Game World according to the game producers’ requirements.
• Set the game plot in accordance to the game’s portrayed world.
• Refining elements within the portrayed world to set the needs and materials for the art production of scenes and in-game characters.
• Portray the various systems based on the portrayed world to ensure the immersive feeling of players in the game.
• Conduct targeted culture research according to the demand of product development.
• Write game publicity articles and product announcements in accordance to the demand and needs provided by product’s promotion plan & market strategy.

Job Requirements ：

• Have professional experience in game narrative design.
• Extensive understanding of American pop culture.
• Rich imagination, strong story-telling ability, good knowledge of traditional culture and sensitivity to popular culture.
• Proficient in writing genres such as romance and drama for games.
• In-depth knowledge, comprehensive understanding, or a strong interest in the Hollywood industry.
• Lots of experience with popular games, especially Match-3 games, and a passion for online game production industry.
• Deep understanding of game narrative, especially for mobile.
• Diligent and dedicated, with good communication skills and cooperation spirit.
• Have strong literary ability.
• Other writing experience can be a plus.

Basic information:

Job type:

• Shanghai: Full-time employee in-office position
• Remote: contractor role (no benefits)

Salary: 40-80k/year (Depending on experience)

Working hours:

• Shanghai: Monday to Friday 10am-7pm (including one-hour break)
• Remote: Monday to Friday, 9h/day (including one-hour break)
