TechDelivery is a leading IT consultancy and cloud development partner specializing in high-level IT staff augmentation and consultancy services. We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in retail, eCommerce, or fashion to lead our development teams and drive technological excellence.

• Lead and manage development teams (3 squads), ensuring talent growth, retention, and overall team well-being.
• Facilitate value delivery by identifying dependencies, resolving blockers, and managing conflicts within and between squads.
• Balance short-term productivity with long-term software sustainability and robustness.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to drive data-driven decisions that enhance the user experience.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous feedback, and technical excellence, leading by example.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance processes and technological standards within the organization.
• Coordinate with other Engineering Managers and the Principal Engineer to align technology strategies and promote synergy across teams.
  

• Must be based in Barcelona or open to relocation.
• Proven experience in managing development teams, including performance reviews, 1:1 meetings, and talent retention.
• Strong background in Java and Kotlin development.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and handle difficult conversations.
• Experience leading software delivery in agile environments.
• Capability to manage and deliver high-impact projects.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
• Passion for team development and creating a positive work environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and planning skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• High-level proficiency in English.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to dive into technical details when necessary.
• Experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, vision, and motivation.
  

• Prior experience in the retail, eCommerce, or fashion industry.
• Deep knowledge of scalable architectures and software development best practices.
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
