Air Freight Project Manager

YOUR TASKS:

• Proactively communicate with existing air cargo agents;
• Negotiate with carries regarding cargo transportation conditions;
• Maintain up to date records of cargo status and movements, ensuring visibility and control throughout the shipping process;
• Manage and execute the worldwide logistics and distribution of products or materials efficiently, fulfilling the requirements of internal and external customers;
• Collaborate with customs brokers to provide detailed instructions for export and import operations;
• Organize import/export shipments along with their necessary documentation;
• Collaborate with colleagues, carriers and customers to address issues that arise during cargo transportation;
• Control and coordination of complex, high- value logistics operations across multimodal transportation.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Higher education (logistics/ transport management an advantage);
• Excellent knowledge of English;
• At least 2 years' experience in similar role;
• Logical thinking, adaptability and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Experience in the worldwide transportation of aviation related shipments is desirable;
• Experience in international transportation of dangerous goods (an advantage);
• Good communication and negotiation skills;
• Excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Shift work schedule (working hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm and 7:00pm - 7:00am)
