Job description

We are searching for a Medior Kotlin Developer to strengthen our IT team. As a software developer you will work alongside 15 direct international colleagues in the development team.

You will work on a trading platform. You will join the existing team of 6 back end developers to work towards the MVP release of this project.

Job requirements

Must have experience

• You have at least 1 years’ relevant working experience in the programming languages Java and/or Kotlin

• You are a back end and/or full stack software engineer experienced in web development technologies

• Experience with developing API’s using Spring boot

• You communicate fluently in English

Preferred

• Experience with Linux, PostgreSQL, Flyway, GraphQL, Git

• Experience with R2DBC, Netty, Webflux, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes is preferred

• Practical knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

• It’s important you are conscientious, and you have a strong sense of agency

• Open in communication to tackle the project’s complexities together

• You show interest in the financial services industry, existing knowledge of securities trading would be great

• A good understanding of the Dutch language is nice to have
