This global household name is growing their software engineering team in Portugal. This is a 6 month daily rate contract opportunity for a Backend Node.JS Engineer. They are growing the team with long term contractors, so this contract is likely to roll.

Real opportunity to make an impact – you and your team are taking the business on the journey from a monolith to microservices architecture. It is an excellent team, with high engineering standards. The tech stack includes GCP, Node, Typescript, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

This will suit a senior engineer, who enjoys taking ownership and driving the creation of solutions end to end. There is an exciting roadmap of new products ahead, and huge opportunity for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience building software with a similar technology stack (backend node & experience with microservices).

Skills/Experience:

• 4 - 8+ Years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong Node.JS skills
• Cloud & Microservices experience

Daily Rate:

€250 – €350 DOE
