Data Analyst

We are recruiting a freelance Data Analyst role for a Swedish Transport Customer based in Gothenburg, Sweden:

Duration: 12 months + chance of extensions

Location: Gothenburg Onsite

Language: English Speaking

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:

-Gather and compile data from various sources, including production lines, quality control systems, and ERP systems.

-Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleaning.

Data Analysis:

-Analyze production data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

-Use statistical methods and software tools to perform data analysis and generate actionable insights.

-Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Process Improvement:

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.

-Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.

-Support the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

Reporting and Communication:

-Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to management and stakeholders.

-Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

-Assist in the development of data-driven strategies to support business objectives.

Technical Support:

-Provide technical support for data-related issues and troubleshoot data discrepancies.

-Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

-Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

-Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software (Power BI).

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and presentation skills.

-Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
