Security Operations Center Analyst

CBSButler are looking for a SOC Analyst to join on a 6 month rolling freelance project with a large infrastructure organisation based in the Katowice region.

This will be a mostly remote working position with occasional meetings in Katowice once a quarter and we can pay up to €55 per hour for the right candidate.

Please see below for what we're looking for:

• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar security role.
• Proven experience with SIEM tools from a SOC perspective - Ideally Splunk & IBM QRadar although we can consider others
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike, McAfee, Sophos or similar tools
• Familiarity with the use of Threat intelligence feeds (e.g. Anomali, ThreatConnect) to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain Poufne security clearance to work in this role.

Any experience in the defence or government sectors previously would be highly desirable although not essential.
