Job Title: Quant Developer / Software Engineer C++

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate C++ Quantitative Developer / Software Engineer to join the Systematic Data Department of a Global Financial Institution. This role focuses on developing a solid solution to contribute to building a cutting-edge data platform for a systematic investment strategy.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Quant Researchers, Data Engineer and Front Office specialist, optimizing financial models to enhance their efficiency and performance. Your contributions will be part of a team building a model to impact the productivity of strategic teams and the effectiveness of pricing and risk models used in the investments.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop Alpha signal data software to enhance quantitative trading strategies.
• Contribute to the software development of a data discovery platform, enabling evaluation and backtesting of datasets for quantitative strategies.
• Assist in building a platform that advises portfolio managers on available data sources for trading strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the C++ software engineering mandate, providing innovative solutions and ideas to enhance the overall platform.

Key Requirements:

• PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Extensive expertise in C++, with a strong focus on low-level development, compilation, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of investment management, particularly systematic investment strategies.
• Passionate about technology, actively engaged in multiple projects, and constantly seeking new challenges.
