UX/UI Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company Design System(s) in Figma to ensure consistency across applications.
• Deliver well-crafted, user-friendly UI designs for web and mobile applications, with a focus on data entry interfaces.
• Ensure all designs meet digital accessibility standards, conducting QA and holistic audits to support accessibility initiatives.
• Design user-centered products and services, addressing the full spectrum of user touchpoints, motivations, and needs.
• Plan and conduct user research sessions, including usability testing and interviews, to uncover insights and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to represent ideal or current user experiences for customers and employees.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure effective implementation of designs, providing quick-turnaround solutions during sprints.
• Clearly communicate design requirements and decisions to product stakeholders and peer designers, both verbally and in writing.

Qualification & Skills:

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably for both web and mobile platforms.
• Portfolio showcasing data entry interface designs for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in contributing to and managing a Design System to ensure consistency across applications.
• Expertise in designing accessible interfaces and conducting accessibility audits.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including deep knowledge of properties.
• Proven experience working closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating design decisions and requirements.
• Experience within financial services or the agricultural industry (both are highly preferred).
• Must be able to submit an up-to-date portfolio outlining projects and design systems, highlighting role in each project. This includes examples of both web and mobile designs and must showcase process, problem-solving skills, and the impact of the work.

Nice to Haves:

• Understanding of the Tokens concept.
• Ability to plan and conduct user research (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Experience using Jira for task tracking.
• Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies, with experience delivering rapid, iterative designs under tight deadlines.
