Data Analyst

Join DP World as a Data Analyst and play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. You'll analyze and present data clearly to guide business decisions, work with APAC teams to address data gaps, and develop impactful solutions. Your expertise in data visualization, accuracy, and data modeling will be vital. You'll also manage the Regional Data Space and provide training on the data tools. This is your chance to drive business improvements and collaborate across regions.

There are two positions Permanent, and a 12-month fixed-term contract position based at the 1 Raffles Place Tower 2 office in Singapore, offering a hybrid work model.

A great opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst with hands-on expertise in Databricks, dashboard development, and proficiency in the Python/Pyspark/SQL tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage dashboards for regional Business Units (BUs) and ensure they meet the needs of stakeholders.
• Manage data model development from Silver to Gold layers in Databricks.
• Collaborate with the Global Data team to tailor data models for APAC needs, using Python and SQL in Databricks.
• Liaise with Global Data, Product, and Cluster IT teams to ensure smooth data operations and integration.
• Oversee regional team analytics and ensure alignment with business operations and objectives.
• Ensure that data solutions align with both global and regional data strategies and standards.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, security, and compliance across regional teams, adhering to global data integrity standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dashboards and data models, implementing sustainable solutions for data-related challenges.
• Document process changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with data modeling and data lake development (Databricks) is a must.
• Over 3 years in a Data Engineer, Data Analyst or Business Intelligence roles
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams across different regions.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with data migration projects.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in Python, Pyspark or Scala for data analysis and modeling.
• Strong skills in data cleaning, preprocessing, and ETL processes for integrating data from various sources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
