Python Developer

PAY: $60-65/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance.

Manager Notes

• This project is working on building internal AI Scheduling + Administrative Tool. Will want it to evolve to booking travel, flights, room etc. managing calendars and more. Right now, they’re just on the scheduling piece, and looking to expand rapidly.
• The team lacks Python skills and need someone really strong with Python – experience using python to interact / pull in other services.
• Team Runs Agile, will join sprint planning, Jira board with tickets they’d be responsible for, join ceremonies.
• Strong API implementation experience, working with Git, SQL, Postgres, MongoDB type of database skills sought.
• 6 months to start, potential extension
• Interview will start with a Live coding assessment – we want to see how they solve problems, implement it, and discuss the solutions. 2 exercises Python and SQL

What to look for:

• Software Engineer (5 years minimum experience preferably)
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Strong expertise with APIs and connections to external data sources.
• Expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or cloud equivalent such as Amazon RDS
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
• Proficiency in using AWS cloud platform for deploying and managing applications.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Experience with the Slack app platform for application development and management a big bonus
• Knowledge of containerization
• Understanding the basic of GenAI required
