Citymesh NV - Security Expert (IT/OT)

Citymesh NV, a leader in B2B connectivity solutions and the European leader in Mobile Private Networks (MPN), is searching for a Security Expert (IT/OT)

As our Security Expert (OT/IT) you will be in the lead to drive security aspects with regards to our (mobile) private networks.

You will serve as a security expert towards our wide customer base (ports, airports, industrial sites, critical infrastructure…), tailoring our solutions with regards to the general security approach of Citymesh, as well as the individual security governance applicable to our customers.

You will design, develop and document security solutions appropriate to the customer's environment and coordinate the secure development, integration and maintenance of the cybersecurity components in, or on top of, our mobile private networks with a high focus on OT security, and the interaction between IT and OT layers.

More specifically, in this role you will:

• Assist network owners in managing information security risks by defining best practices and technical solutions to mitigate security risks:
• Design and propose a secure architecture for our private network connectivity solutions and the enabled IT/OT applications on top
• Conduct information security risk assessments and recommend risk reduction measures
• Develop and implement OT/IT security roadmaps for our connectivity offering
• Build and lead an internal and external security community comprising Citymesh stakeholders, vendors, and customer stakeholders to share expertise, experience, and best practices for continuous security improvement, with a major focus on the domains of OT security
• Collaborate with the Security Office to establish governance and monitoring systems that enhance cyber resilience and improve interactions with IT, ISO, and other expert groups.
• Analyze, assess and evaluate the cybersecurity posture of Citymesh and customers.
• Translate the general security policies of both Citymesh and its customers into processes and instructions which can be used by the network owners as a basis for network-specific measures.
• Design, develop and document solutions with regards to OT/IT security that can be integrated into our (mobile) private network portfolio.
• Assist the Security Office (SO) in aligning information security policies and risk management with the specific needs of OT networks.
• Guide Citymesh as technical security expert in large tenders with regards to mobile private networks in view of OT/IT security.
  
  

Job requirements

Must Have Qualities & Talents

• Master’s degree in industrial sciences or engineering (preferably in automation, electrical engineering, or computer science) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT or OT security.
• Comprehensive understanding of information security and OT security, including policies, risk management, threats, and tools.
• Knowledge of advanced IT/OT networking solutions and mobile private 4G/5G networks.
• Familiarity with security standards such as NIST SP 800-82, ISO 2700x, IAEA NSS-17(-T)).
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical knowledge in business language.
• Positive, goal-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
