Our client is seeking a highly skilled React Developer to join their dynamic FX forward pricing team on a contract basis. You will be working closely with Traders and Quants, contributing to the design and development of a new pricing UI for the FX forward trading business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain React application using TypeScript
  • Implement CSS based UI components using SASS library
  • Manage state efficiently with Redux
  • Write unit and integration tests using testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Optimise application for performance and scalability

Job Requirements

  • Core skills required are React, TypeScript, Redux, SASS, AG Grid, React testing framework
  • Experience with Git version control development
  • Understanding of RESTful API and websocket connections
  • Proven expertise in React development, including a deep understanding of the build and deploy process, testing, and CI/CD practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend and implement UI development options
  • Comprehensive development practices with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution beyond just writing React code
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and the ability to innovate testing processes
  • Familiarity with Maven build and deploy, and continuous development cycles
