Job Description:

As an Android Developer, you will be accountable for understanding the requirements, contributing to design, and development of features for Mobile App, adhering to high standards of our digital channels used by millions of customers. It requires analytical thinking to overcome complex problems, creating automation/monitoring use cases to reduce toil, maximise service availability and engaging with business and technical stakeholders to arrive at optimal solutions.

What will you bring?

Android:

• Proficiency in:
• Kotlin and Java.
• Integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Building secure apps using bio-metrics and other security mechanisms provided by Google – eg. detection of jailbroken devices.
• Writing unit and snapshot tests.
• Experience with:
• Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Building UI-rich interfaces – eg. interactive graphs - using Material Design.
• Gradle.
• Build pipelies, eg. GitHub actions.

Relevant Experiences:

• Familiarity with Restful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
• Experience with Performance and Memory Tuning with tools
• Experience with threading and performance tuning
• Unit and UI testing
