Senior Java Developer @ European Institutions

We are looking for hybrid Senior Java Developers, who wants to work for the European Institutions in Brussels.

Candidates need to be based in the proximity of 2 hours of Brussels by car. Consultants need to be aware that they need to work 1 to 2 days in the Brussels office.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Work permit is not provided.

This position is also open for employees and freelancers. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and development of components and building blocks;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modeling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users;
• Definition of testing needs and assistance in the testing;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +5/+10/+15 years of Java development experience;
• Good knowledge of Spring;
• Good knowledge of Hibernate;
• Fluent in English;
