Chief Technology Officer

CTO opportunity with dynamic gaming software development company. They have recently opened a Dublin office, and this person will be key in scaling the tech capability of the business

This is not a hands-on coding role, but will suit an Engineer (embedded / C++ ideally) now moved into Leadership

This is a mainly remote role but will require onsite once every 2 weeks or so, in Dublin (D2)

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing the technology roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality gaming products Lead the engineering and development teams (c25 dispersed teams) to deliver innovative gaming products.
• Oversee game development pipelines, ensuring efficient workflows and high performance.
• Research and integrate emerging gaming technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud gaming.
• Drive continuous improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for technology projects.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role
• Strong technical background in development / software engineering (embedded / C++ ideally)
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience scaling development teams.
