QA Engineer – Frontend Automation Specialist

About the Position

We are UAB PLC Group, an international company specializing in car trading and digital vehicle history reporting. We operate large-scale international projects such as plc.auction – a global car auction platform, and checkcar.vin – a vehicle history report generation system.

We are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Frontend Automation Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing automated testing frameworks and conducting manual testing for our Laravel and Vue.js/Next.js-based applications. This is a great opportunity to work with modern technologies and help ensure quality across innovative international projects.

Language Requirements

✅ Mandatory: Fluent in Russian and English (at least B2 level).

Responsibilities

1. Automated Testing

🔹 Design and implement test strategies for front-end applications (Vue.js, Next.js).

🔹 Develop and maintain end-to-end, integration, and unit tests using modern JS testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, etc.).

🔹 Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

🔹 Maintain QA documentation and testing best practices.

🔹 Analyze results and provide feedback to developers.

🔹 Participate in code reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

2. Manual Testing and Quality Assurance

🔹 Perform functional and exploratory testing.

🔹 Conduct UI/UX, regression, and cross-browser testing.

🔹 Create and manage test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

🔹 Log, prioritize, and track bugs (Jira, TestRail, or similar).

🔹 Perform API testing using tools like Postman.

🔹 Create and manage test data.

3. Collaboration and Process Improvement

🔹 Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams.

🔹 Continuously improve testing processes and suggest automation opportunities.

🔹 Contribute to QA strategy and monitor key quality metrics.

Requirements

✅ 4+ years of experience in QA engineering, including at least 2 years in test automation.

✅ Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest).

✅ Experience testing Vue.js/Next.js components and frontend logic.

✅ Understanding of Laravel applications and frontend-backend interaction.

✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working in Dockerized environments.

✅ Strong analytical skills and ability to assess risk and quality impact.

✅ Hands-on experience with manual testing, test planning, and defect management.

✅ Solid documentation skills (test cases, bug reports, test plans).

Nice to Have

✅ Experience with Vue Test Utils, Vitest, or Testing Library.

✅ Knowledge of accessibility and performance testing for web applications.

✅ Experience with test data management and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

✅ Background in e-commerce, car auctions, or similar platforms.

✅ Experience with CRM, chatbots, or automated sales channels.
