About the client

For our Client in Utrecht we are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer to join an International Banking Division. This role involves collaborating with two teams focused on data and connectivity.

The client is a leading international financial institution in the Utrecht area focused on both wholesale and rural banking. The Global Client Data System is a crucial part of their infrastructure, providing unique client identifiers to most other systems used to service their clients. The team works in a dynamic and multicultural environment, with a mix of onshore and offshore team members.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with two teams in the migration of legacy systems to Azure while maintaining on-premises solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis to identify and resolve issues with the system.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Implement patches and updates to ensure system stability and security.

Technical Requirements

• Strong foundation in Java (Java 8 or higher).
• 6+ years of experience in Software Development.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Oracle Databases and SQL.
• CI/CD familiarity (Azure DevOps is a pre).
• Experience with IBM Master Data Management and WebSpehere application server (nice to have).

This is a consultancy role for 12 months (possible extension, ZZP/Freelance not possible).
