Job Role: Transport Backoffice - (Fault Management & Configuration)

Location: Timisoara, Romania


Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and fault management of Transmission MW network & IP components.
  • Experienced in Transmission MW equipment’s like, Huawei (RTN-905/620/950), Ericsson (AMM2P/6P/20P, ML66XX, ML6352) and SIAE(ALCplus2/ALCplus2e/AGC-20).
  • Experienced in router equipment’s like, Huawei (ATN910D-A, ATN910B, ATN980C, NE40E_X2_M14), Infinera (8630, 8660,9609) and Cisco (NCS540, NCS560, NCS520).
  • Determines problems in the network and identifies the nature of the problem. Using early and preventive measures, problems are identified at an early stage and can be settled before becoming severe.
  • Providing support to teams (FM) on site to troubleshooting the fault.
  • Tracking network troubleshooting of faults from the time of their occurrence till the time of their resolution.
  • Participate in the trouble ticket process and monitor the closure rate against set SLA times.
  • During network failure need to follow process and Escalation Matrix.
  • Identify and monitor Change Order implementation issues to ensure that the intended objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain operational status of the access and core network using the Network tools, procedures, documents, and routines.
  • Understudy External and Internal High-Level Support staff and acquire necessary skills to handle Network Operations and maintenance activities.
  • Service desk handling for internal and external customers through incident management.
  • Timely communication / updates of events that can affect network quality and availability.
  • Perform projects task as per work assignment to Network Operations Escalations and reporting to Network Operations Supervisor.


SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in Transmission related activities concerning Microwave technology equipment.
  • Experience in Transmission related activities
  • Experience in multivendor Transmission MW equipment like Huawei (RTN-905/620/950), Ericsson (AMM2P/6P/20P, ML66XX, ML6352) and SIAE(ALCplus2/ALCplus2e/AGC-20)
  • Experienced in multivendor router equipment’s like, Huawei (ATN910D-A, ATN910B, ATN980C, NE40E_X2_M14), Infinera (8630, 8660,9609) and Cisco (NCS540, NCS560, NCS520).
  • 3G / LTE RAN (EnB, RNC, SEG-W) Network.
  • Good understanding of Call flows of 2G/3G and LTE.
  • Air Interface and Radio Technology.
  • Have fundamental knowledge in SLA and KPI of 2G,3G and 4G network
  • Experience in handling customer escalations and managing expectations.
  • Knowledge in operating NMS and ticketing systems.
  • Should have experience of providing Level 1 fault management support, executing changes in the network.
  • Device level experience for any of the following mentioned network elements in transmission MW equipment’s like Huawei, Ericsson and SIAE.
  • Self-supervised worker, Self-motivated learner.
  • Resilience and capable working on SHIFTS as well as emergency unscheduled work.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Able to work closely with peers and other business units.
  • Good documentation skills and attention to details.
  • Highly organized, structured and calm personality capable of prioritizing competing tasks/challenges that the network presents to the incumbent.
  • Can do spirit driven by the customer centric approach towards tasks and work in general.
  • Adaptable, used to working to tight time scales, motivated to manage own time, works well on own and with a team.
  • Should have experience to provide Level 1 fault management support, executing changes in the network
  • German speaking skills with B2 competency
  • English writing and speaking skills
