Responsibilities

• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/protection systems.
• Monitor network utilization, performance, and security to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and analyze traffic patterns for efficient resolution.
• Implement and manage firewall rules, security settings, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patch installations.
• Maintain up-to-date network asset inventory, including lease, warranty, and contract details.
• Administer IP address management, VLAN configurations, and network access controls.
• Perform network backup, documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Assist in evaluating new hardware/software for performance improvement.
• Provide support for network implementation, upgrades, and security compliance.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure management.
• Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and security principles.
• Experience with WAN implementation, VPNs, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic IT environment.
