Senior .NET Engineer

Avenga is looking for a skilled Senior .NET Engineer to join our American project. Our client is a global healthcare intelligence company that develops life-saving and life-improving drugs with comprehensive clinical development services, including data management, statistical analysis, clinical trial management, medical writing, and regulatory and drug development consulting.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience with .NET Core / .NET 8+ (C#)
• Strong ASP.NET Core skills (Web API, MVC, Minimal APIs)
• Deep understanding of Entity Framework Core (Code-First, Migrations, Performance Optimization)
• Experience with microservices architecture (API gateways, service discovery)
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs and API security (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT)
• Knowledge of scalable, high-availability solutions (Load Balancing, Caching, Circuit Breakers)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in unit & integration testing (NUnit, xUnit, Moq, FluentAssertions)
• Experience with API contract testing & performance profiling (BenchmarkDotNet)
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Fhir
• Familiarity with FakeItEasy library for unit tests

This is your role

• Design, plan, and develop new components
• Release and proactive monitoring of components in production
• Improvements to existing monitoring, alerting tooling, and playbooks
• Contribution to performance improvements and R&D initiative
• Participate in support duties and platform deployment rotations
• Participate in development streams for re-architecture and refactoring activities
• Implement new functionality with care for users and hope for future expansion and support
• Write code that will implement the expected desired behavior
• Expand the system without losing support for existing features
• Optimize system bottlenecks to reduce user dissatisfaction
