Information Security Consultant

For our customer in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Implementer ISO 27001

Start: As soon as possible

End: 31/05/2025 (3 months, full-time, possible extension)

Location: Brussels full on site.

Client Description:

Our client is a Belgian federal regulator for electronic communications, postal services, radiofrequency spectrum, and audiovisual media services. They aim to foster fair competition, protect users, manage critical resources, and secure digital infrastructures.

Mission:

We are looking for a Senior ISO 27001 Consultant to support the implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and lead the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification process aligned with NIS2 law.

• Conduct a gap analysis of the current ISMS, including risk assessment, methodology, and governance.
• Identify gaps compared to ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
• Assist in drafting the required documentation for certification.
• Help plan activities leading to certification by early 2027.
• Contribute to the selection of tools for ISMS management and ISO 27001 compliance.

Profile:

• Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS.
• Proven track record in performing gap analyses.
• Strong skills in cybersecurity, risk management, and security policy writing.
• Experience with public sector environments is a plus.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French, good level of English.

Additional Information:

• The mission can be extended up to a maximum of 880 working days (including initial duration).
