We Are Currently Looking for a Senior (Technical) Software Architect!

Reason For Hiring

One of our large, well-established Finnish customers are hiring for the position of Senior Software Architect. Therefore, we are encouraging experienced IT professionals, who are located in Finland to apply!

The customer is open to considering Senior Developers, who are ready to take the next step into an Architect position, as well-as an experienced Software Architect.

This position is an opportunity to join us as a DigiDo consultant initially, with a pathway to join our customer permanently!

Ideal Candidate Specification

Core Skills & Experience:

• VB.Net & C# Development – Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using VB.Net and C#.
• Software Architecture – Strong understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices for scalable and maintainable software.
• Front-End Development – Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and jQuery; familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
• System Maintenance & Optimization – Experience in identifying and resolving performance issues, managing system upgrades, and ensuring high availability.
• Technical Leadership – Ability to guide, mentor, and lead development teams, ensuring best practices and driving technical excellence.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

• Database Management – Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including schema design, optimization, and querying.
• Infrastructure – Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• CI/CD & DevOps – Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines, Git, and best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
• Microservices & API Development – Experience in designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs.

Soft Skills & Leadership Qualities:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to define technical roadmaps and architectural strategies.

Language Requirements:

This role requires fluency in Finnish language.

Location:

Candidates are required to already be in Finland. Our customer has offices in Uusimaa, Pirkanmaa and other locations across Finland, and they would love to see you once per week!

Compensation

Basic Salary:

Salary can vary depending on the candidate's experience. However, Senior Developers can expect a basic salary of from 5500€. For Senior Architects, they can potentially offer +6500€ p/m.
