Specialist, Business Analytics (Summer Trainee)

We are looking for a Specialist, Business Analytics trainee to join our Analytics and Operations Development team in Vantaa. As Specialist, Business Analytics trainee you will support the analytics and reporting of Fazer Confectionery's operational activities. You will assist in the development and improvement of Power BI reporting and data management processes. You will help in the effective use of reporting systems to enhance operations across various operational functions. The role will also involve troubleshooting issues from stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate data reporting.

The role is a fixed-term Summer Trainee position for three-four months from mid to late May onwards and based in Fazer Headquarters in Vantaa. We work mainly onsite.

What do we hope you will bring to the team?

• You are currently pursuing university studies in engineering, IT, or business, ideally between mid to final stages of your studies
• You are proficient in Power BI, including DAX language, data visualization, and data modelling with preferably experience from business or production environment
• Strong analytical skills are essential, with the ability to manage and process large datasets accurately and with great attention to detail
• We value a strong interest in continuous improvement, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
• You are a committed team player and cooperate seamlessly with different stakeholders across organization
• A strong ability to understand the business needs in your field and to support decision making with data insights is essential
• Experience with SQL and SAP ERP would be an added advantage
• Experience working in manufacturing and process environments is considered beneficial
• Fluent skills in Finnish and English are required
