Analytics Specialist / Power Bi Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst & Power BI Developer to join our dynamic & passionate team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing stakeholder requirements, interpreting complex data sets to inform business decision makers, as well as designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools as Power BI. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in data visualization, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights as well as innovative view towards solutioning and tools in use.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with various business stakeholders to collect requirements for reporting, data visualization and insights delivery.
• Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Create visualizations that effectively communicate findings and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of reports and analyses.
• Present analysis results to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data findings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization as well as be updated on innovations & tools catering for initiatives & business needs.
  
  

Requirments

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered as advantage.
• Proven experience of minimum 3 years as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong grasp of statistical analysis and insights delivery.
• Excellent English language skills (both spoken and written) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development and report administration.
• Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices in data visualization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate would be considered as plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to the business stakeholders.
• Innovative thinking towards tools and solutions in use to generate actionable insights.
• Certification of Microsoft PL300 would be considered as plus.
