Project Planner - Relocation to Sweden

SilverBack Staffing is helping a collaborative company find a Construction Planner in Skellefteå, Boden and other locations in the EU. The role comes with a project based contract and a contract day rate.

As a flexible Construction Planner, you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling and

monitoring, along with project controls for customer projects (industrial construction).

In your first week in this Construction Planner role, you can expect to:

• Develop, optimise and maintain an overall time plan for the programme and each

workstream

• Plan and organise the project scope by work package to create the baseline critical path

schedule and continuously track the progress with the project team and work package

lead using Primavera, MS Project or other similar tools

• Manage progress measurement and produce weekly reports to monitor progress
• Run and manage scheduling coordination, both internally and externally.

Construction Planning applicants will need a degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or

a tertiary qualification and planning and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a project

planning, scheduling and monitoring role. An additional qualification in planning and scheduling

would be an advantage. The following are also required:

• Experience in large/complex construction projects of similar scale, along with working in a

multicultural environment (e.g., in international teams, international projects etc.)

• Prior experience with several projects and bids, ideally in a similar business area
• Experience in integrated Project Controls using Work Breakdown Structures
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project or other planning tools.
• Essential to have Swedish residency/EU Passport
