Your Role

As a Tech Lead, you’ll lead a squad of full-stack engineers. You’ll work closely with product and design to shape beautiful, intuitive user experiences - and drive the technical decisions that bring them to life.

We’re a fully remote team across multiple countries and timezones, with async-friendly workflows and an emphasis on autonomy and impact.

You’ll be hands-on, guiding architecture and implementation, while mentoring others and championing engineering best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead & Mentor: Support and grow a global team of multi-talented engineers.
• Architect & Ship: Build performant, maintainable systems using our modern stack.
• Innovate with AI: Collaborate with AI specialists to power adaptive, personalized learning.
• Partner Cross-Functionally: Align closely with product and design on goals and execution.
• Own Reliability: Ensure security, scalability, and high uptime across the platform.

What We’re Looking For

• Deep experience with Laravel, Livewire, Inertia, React.js, Vue.js, Alpine.js, FilamentPHP, AWS, Laravel Vapor
• Proven ability to build polished, consumer-obsessed UX-focused products
• Solid grasp of modern architectures, CI/CD, and API design
• Excited about AI and LLMs and their potential in education
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for shipping
• Bonus: familiarity with the UK or US education space
