We're looking for a passionate engineer to jump into complex challenges and build clean software that users love. If you live and breathe great code and exceptional UX, you'll fit right in. You'll get to choose the right tools for the job, contribute across our tech stack, and work with the team to keep our codebase solid. We need someone driven who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves seeing their work make a real impact on the business.

Responsibilities 👏

In this role, you’ll:

• Create intuitive features with brilliant UI/UX: Craft high-quality, responsive, and snappy interfaces using React for Juni’s various domains. You'll bring designs to life or creatively solve UI challenges based on product needs. Think cool data visualizations, smart automation UIs, and seamless integrations.
• Shape the Frontend: Design smart frontend solutions, thinking about components, state, and testing. You'll also have a voice in wider system design and API conversations.
• Go Full-Stack When Needed: While frontend is your focus, you'll contribute to build and use APIs, working smoothly with backend engineers to implement features across the stack.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Help monitor our applications, troubleshoot issues (especially frontend performance!), and participate in on-call rotations to ensure stability.

Qualifications 👑

What we need to see

• Frontend Pro: You've got 4+ years of professional experience building complex web apps, with strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (like React), HTML, and CSS.
• Web Savvy: You understand web architecture, have solid experience working with APIs (bonus if you've designed them!), and aren't afraid to dive into backend code when needed.
• Problem Solver: You enjoy digging into tricky technical problems, especially around UI/UX and frontend performance, finding practical and effective solutions.
  Quality Mindset: You believe in writing clean, well-tested code.
• Team Player: You communicate clearly (in English!) and love collaborating with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers.
• Own It: You're proactive, take ownership of your work, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
  

What we’d love to see

• Domain Experience: Experience building UIs for FinTech, accounting, finance, or complex B2B tools.
• Startup Experience: You've thrived in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of a startup before.
• Design System Familiarity: You've worked closely with designers on implementing or contributing to design systems or component libraries.
