The role

We're looking for a senior engineer to join our Revenue Engineering team.

The team is responsible for subscription management, product packaging and business support systems.

You'll be working on a wide range of projects, spanning from distributed systems to data pipelines, often in close collaboration with web developers as well as designers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing services needed to realise our product roadmap
• Improving, evolving and replacing existing services and APIs
• Making sure our systems stay performant, reliable and cost efficient
• Helping the team grow as a whole by sharing knowledge and lifting each other up
  
  

About You

You're driven and entrepreneurial, but you know how to be a team player too. Regardless of roles, we're always looking to work with people who can adapt to constant change, prioritise what's important, stay humble, open, curious and get things done.

You have at least 5+ years of experience as a engineer, preferably with experience in SaaS and/or billing related systems.

Our technology stack

We’re building distributed services that are hosted on Google App Engine and Google Container Engine (GKE). Services are accessed using GraphQL and REST.

Our language of choice is primarily Go but we also use Scala. The services we build and maintain use a variety of technologies, such as Datastore, Cloud SQL (Postgres), Spanner, Elastic search, and Google Cloud Storage. We also export data to BigQuery for data analysis.

All our services are deployed and configured using Terraform and Helm. We primarily use Google Pub/Sub for communicating between services.
