Job Summary:

This role is pivotal in designing, building, and optimizing cloud solutions. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies to architect and implement scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with architects and IT Teams to design solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead end-to-end data migration projects from on-premises environments to AWS
• Continues Improvement of solutions, architecture standards and guidelines and support creation of documentation to ensure application design compliance and efficient operations of the cloud architecture program
• Develop proof of concepts to prove new techniques
• Stay up-to-date with AWS services, and DevPps/CloudOps best practices to recommend and implement new technologies and techniques
• Estimating Public Cloud costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
• Implement processes based on security standards or best practices to avoid security breaches and reduce system vulnerability
• Lead compliance assessment with the team on designed cloud architecture
• Collaborate closely with Platform and DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of the project deliverables
• Autonomous, self motivated and excellent team player
• Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management
• Self-starter and ambitious

Qualifications and Profile:

• An ideal candidate should possess atleast 3+ years of experience aa a cloud engineer (Preferably AWS), with around 5 to 9 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge on AWS services, including S3, Ec2, Lambda, Redshift, IAM, Cloudwatch and others
• Experience in writing Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python etc
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices
• Strong knowledge on OOA, OOD principles and multi-threading
• Experience with common Cloud design patterns, messaging patterns and distributed systems
• Experience CI/Cd tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Must have atleast one AWS cloud certifications(AWS Certified Developer/ Devops or solution architect )
