Security Analyst 1 - REMOTE

Title: Security Analyst I
Location: REMOTE - CST work Hours
Duration: Long Term Contract 
Compensation: $35-$40/hr. 
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Description:

As a Security Analyst 1, you will be responsible for monitoring our security platforms and responding to alerts as necessary. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security platforms.
• Respond to security incidents and alerts promptly.
• Conduct initial triage and investigation of security events.
• Collaborate with the IT and security teams to resolve security issues.
• Maintain and update security documentation and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, security, or Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Preferred experience with security tools such as Rapid7, Trend Micro, SentinelOne, or CrowdStrike.
• Must possess a CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other security certifications and frameworks.
• Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of network security and endpoint protection.
