We are looking for a Drone Engineer to oversee our fleet of drones, ensuring optimal performance, readiness, and reliability. This role involves inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and active collaboration with our engineering team to enhance device capabilities.

We are looking for a Drone Engineer to oversee our fleet of drones, ensuring optimal performance, readiness, and reliability. This role involves inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and active collaboration with our engineering team to enhance device capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and configure diverse drone types, ensuring readiness for deployment
- Pilot drones safely for various missions, considering flight restrictions, weather conditions, and operational constraints
- Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate drone performance and reliability
- Conduct training sessions on drone operations, safety protocols, and system maintenance
- Troubleshoot technical issues during field operations, manage flight logs, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams, providing feedback to enhance drone design, firmware, configuration, and functionality for specialized mission requirements
- Experience with building, tuning, and customizing drones
- Strong expertise in using and configuring Ardupilot flight control software or similar
- Proven experience piloting drones in various conditions and scenarios
- Robust hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
- General knowledge of aerodynamics and principles of flight
- Experience with drone simulations and flight modeling software
- Background or familiarity with hardware design, including PCB development and integration
