AutoVex is the leading used car C2B-auction marketplace in Finland, spearheading the transformation of the used car market by offering car dealers a modern and efficient digital purchasing platform whilst simultaneously offering consumers an effortless way to sell their car for the best possible price. We’re also operating in Sweden under the brand ‘Wheelaway’ and with the support of our majority owner Schibsted (soon to be Vend), we’re building the next generation, leading C2B marketplace in the Nordics.

⭐️ About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to help us discover, further develop, and deliver a groundbreaking product that simplifies both the car selling experience for consumers and the car buying experience for dealers. Our platform serves two equally important customer groups: individuals and companies looking to sell their cars effortlessly and car dealerships looking for efficient, modern tools to source vehicles.

At AutoVex, nobody builds a great product alone. As our Product Manager, you'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of UX, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive continuous, meaningful improvements to the customer experience—on both sides of the marketplace. You’ll help lead and shape our product development rhythm – working with clear objectives, experiments, A/B tests, and lightweight discovery activities inspired by leading product practices (think opportunity-solution trees and continuous discovery habits).

We’re looking for someone who brings strong communication skills across all levels of the organization – from hands-on collaboration with developers and designers to strategic discussions with leadership. You’re proactive, deeply curious about customer problems (from both sellers and buyers), and always looking for both small optimizations and bold shifts in product direction to push the business forward.

This position requires the ability to work from our Helsinki Office most of the time and occasionally travel to Stockholm, Sweden

💻Responsibilities:

• Gain deep customer insights from both sellers and dealers to define product priorities and problems to solve
• Lead discovery activities that bring clarity to real customer needs
• Work with qualitative feedback and product data to prioritize and validate direction
• Leverage modern tools and workflows to accelerate learning, decision-making, and discovery throughout the product cycle
• Collaborate with leadership in shaping and evolving the product vision and roadmap
• Own and maintain the product backlog with clear prioritization and purpose
• Facilitate communication across UX, Tech, and Stakeholder teams to maintain focus and alignment
• Own and further develop the Ways of Working within Product Development - making sure all stakeholders are aligned and working towards the same outcomes

🎯 Skills, knowledge, and expertise to succeed

• Experience in a similar Product Manager or Product Owner role where you've led product development from idea to delivery
• Experience working with digital products that serve both consumers and business users, ideally in a marketplace or ecommerce environment
• Proven track record collaborating with UX and development teams to deliver user-focused outcomes
• Ability to translate diverse customer problems and business goals into product opportunities and experiments
• Comfortable with product discovery tools and techniques like opportunity-solution trees, rapid prototyping, A/B testing
• Open to adopting innovative tools and workflows that reduce time-to-insight and support rapid iteration
• Skilled in agile methodologies and facilitating clear and effective meetings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – written, visual, and verbal
• English fluency is required. Finnish and/or Swedish is a plus.
