Cyber Security Consultant – Munich

A leading cybersecurity consultancy is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to advise clients on security strategy, risk management, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients across multiple industries, helping them strengthen their security posture.

Location: Munich, Germany (must be based in Germany)

Salary: €90,000 + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to mitigate threats
• You will be delivering tailored security advice to customers and helping them understand what measures to take and which to prioritize. You will be supported by a Cyber Security Specialist in analysis and in determining measures.
• Support incident response, security audits, and regulatory compliance efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to enhance overall cybersecurity resilience

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Consultant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security, and network protection
• Hands-on experience in security audits, penetration testing, or risk assessments
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and provide strategic security recommendations
• Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
