Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: €70-80k p/a plus benefits

Troi Search have partnered with an Irish tech firm to hire an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. This position will involve collaborating with various IT units to influence Infrastructure and Automation strategies and requires strong experience with Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure.

Day-To-Day Duties:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure to support high-availability applications.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm, reducing manual effort and improving consistency.
• Monitor and optimize cloud cost efficiency, identifying areas for resource utilization improvements and cost savings.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring efficient networking, robust security, and peak performance.
• Ensure AWS security, compliance, and governance best practices by implementing identity management, encryption, and access controls.
• Lead platform engineering initiatives, building Platform as a Product solutions to empower development teams with self-service infrastructure and deployment capabilities.
• Champion best practices in cloud architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure automation, driving innovation and operational excellence across the organization.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of relevant experience in DevOps Engineering within AWS environments
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
• Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, including cluster orchestration, networking, and security management.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Helm, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
• In-depth understanding of Microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automating system processes and workflows.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services like IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
