Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Planner based in Frankfurt with one of Europe's most reputable contractors.

The project planner will join an established Planning team in Frankfurt and will contribute to the planning of complex engineering & construction projects, particularly in the Data Center industry.

This is a great opportunity to join a market leader in Data Center construction with extensive training, development & progression opportunities on offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional/sectoral).
  • Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
  • Reporting to the Planning Department.
  • Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
  • Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction/construction/commissioning.
  • Developing and maintaining progress databases.
  • Progress reporting.
  • Milestone projections, delay/float path analysis.
  • Earned Value Management systems.
  • Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
  • Auditing progress on site.
  • Attending scheduled meetings, and liaising with clients and subcontractors.
  • Preparation of tender schedules.
  • Preparation of histograms.
  • Leading planning meetings.
  • Supporting weekly workforce planning systems.
  • Resource/cash loading of schedules.
  • Providing data for payment applications.
  • Completing contract review reports.
  • Responsibility for the quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
  • Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
  • Recording delay and disruption.
  • Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
  • Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.
  • Training staff, if required.
  • Covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required.
  • All other duties associated with the role.


Requirements:

  • Ability to carry out the roles and responsibilities as defined above.
  • Background in construction-related degree or trade.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Planning of large construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent IT and software skills (including Oracle P6 and Excel).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proven ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety.
