Network Engineer to Lund (freelance/interim/employment)

What You’ll Do:

• Design & Innovate: Lead the design and delivery of advanced network solutions, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity.
• Master Cisco Technologies: Utilize your expert knowledge in Cisco routing & switching, Wireless, and ASA Firepower to optimize our network infrastructure.
• Secure the Network: Implement and manage security solutions with Fortinet and Palo Alto, safeguarding our digital assets.
• Integrate & Manage Services: Work with Infoblox DNS/DHCP, AWS, RSA, ISE, and Cisco Anyconnect to enhance our network services.
• Analyze & Optimize: Use tools like Solarwinds, Splunk, and Wireshark to monitor and improve network performance.
• Embrace New Technologies: Dive into IPv6 and SD-WAN to keep our network at the forefront of technology.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven Expertise: Over 5 years of experience in IT Networks, with a strong focus on design, delivery, and operational support.
• Experience from: Cisco, Palo Alto & Fortinet
• Vendor Collaboration: Experience working with Managed Service partners and vendors to drive successful changes and resolve incidents.
• ITIL Mastery: Deep understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change Management, to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Documentation Guru: Exceptional skills in creating clear and comprehensive network maps and procedural documents.
• Independent & Driven: Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
• Communication Pro: Strong interpersonal and business communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
