Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on the Private Capital sector. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze and document business processes, particularly in fund accounting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of Private Capital business processes, with a focus on financial statements and reporting to regulatory bodies.
• Engage with business representatives to understand requirements across different locations, ensuring clarity and validation of acceptance criteria.
• Develop comprehensive documentation outlining business needs for IT to facilitate solution development.
• Identify and recommend operational and control enhancements within the Private Capital domain.
• Define mappings and business rules to bridge the gap between current and future business models.
• Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed, including writing UAT test cases in Octane.
• Oversee the implementation of financial reporting projects using Unity and Confluence, coordinating with operations and vendors.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to supply vendors with the necessary data for generating financial statements and legal reports.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, particularly within the Private Capital industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and various GAAP standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of business processes.
• Proficiency in using eFront, Unity, Confluence, and other relevant technologies.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
