Join our team as a Backend Node Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon, Braga)! 

What You’ll Do: 

• Design, develop and implement scalable, robust and secure backend services using TypeScript. 
• Create and manage databases, defining schemas, queries and transactions to support application functionality. 
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration. 
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing server-side logic and database queries. 
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to junior developers. 
• Specifying and executing unit and integration tests, identifying and resolving bugs and performance problems. 
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, ensuring the adoption of best practices in backend development. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
• +5 years’ experience in backend development. 
• Proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScript. 
• Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Node.js or NestJS. 
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Proficiency in building RESTful APIs. 
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git). 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Fluency in Portuguese (native) and English (C1).
