DevOps Engineer

Their success is growing as they rapidly manufacture fibre cables and switches that service some of the world’s largest 5G and datacentre customers. The technology function has continuously transformed their digital operations, utilising top cutting edge technology has seen this team expand YoY.

As part of their newly established software centre of excellence in Barcelona, they have engaged Quotacom exclusively to recruit a DevOps Engineer/Software Engineer who will have a hybrid role on Devops and software engineering. You will provide an amazing opportunity with significant scope, to create, build and navigate both their future capabilities and the development of their products.

As a well-respected individual within the organisation, you will also have the opportunity to help in the decisions surrounding team expansion of specialists, creating a strong in-house competence within their new engineering centre of excellence in Barcelona.

Must haves:

• At least 5+ years of experience
• JavaScript + TypeScript (Advance/Expert)
• Experience with Node.Js / VueJS
• Information Architecture modelling
• Database integrations (SQL, NoSQL)
• Cloud deployment environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• DevOps experience: CICD pipelines, Terraform
• Event queue implementations
• Containerization / Dockerv2
• REST API implementations
• Unit testing
• Integration testing
• Very comfortable working in Agile methodology frameworks
• Functional in work environment English

Very nice to haves:

• OAS3.0 (Swagger)
• Wireframing/Mockups methodology & tools (figma, xd)
• CI/CD experience (Github actions/Azure devOps/Amplify)
• Infrastructure as Code familiarity (Cloudform, ARM, Pulumi)
• Experience in python
• Redux state management pattern tools (pinia, vueX etc.)
• Sockets
• Webhook implementations
• Graphic design
• Google material component libraries (Vuetify)
• CSS / SASS / LESS / SCSS / Stylus
• Functional in work environment Spanish
